Research

KU has more than 40 affiliated research centers, institutes, and laboratories in the arts, humanities, sciences, high technology, business, engineering, and government, including a nearly $9-million facility for pharmaceutical and biochemical programs and a $14-million performing arts center.

Responsible Conduct of Research

Through workshops, conferences, and multimedia presentations, the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) program explores the ethical issues graduate students will face in their research fields.

Christina Stauffer

“I was strongly influenced to attend graduate school at KU by the medicinal chemistry department’s strength in organic synthesis of bioactive molecules, the area of research I am currently involved in. The quality of the department is extremely high, and its environment fosters many inter- and intra-departmental collaborations that greatly benefit graduate students. ”

– Christina Stauffer, medicinal chemistry
