to assume tenure-track faculty roles in diverse academic
institutions and enhances placement of KU graduates by
fostering a better fit between graduate students’ goals and eventual
academic employment.
Preparing Future Professionals (PFP)
offers workshops and training sessions that explore ways
in which individuals with graduate degrees can seek opportunities
in the business,
nonprofit, and government
sectors.

“I work for the Center for Environmentally
Beneficial Catalysis, conducting high pressure experiments in
a stainless steel reactor and analyzing the materials
I create using a suite of analytical tools available
on campus. The CEBC has given me exceptional experiences working on
cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to interact in multidisciplinary
teams, which is key in today’s industrial workplace.”
