The News and Public Information department is the media's primary source for news and timely information about KU. We promote press coverage of KU by providing the media with press releases, a calendar of events, media kits, an experts guide, video, audio and photography as well as making ourselves available to comment on stories and make official statements. We are also responsible for responding to open records and freedom of information requests.
