Report of the Chancellor's Campus-Wide Task Force on Administration and Reengineering
PART II: Reengineering
IV. Concluding Statement
The processes, functions, and issues identified in this report are the result of sifting through extensive data gathered by the Task Force. The Chancellor directed the Task Force to limit its recommendations to ten to fifteen processes, therefore, not all possible issues or concerns are identified. Those included in this report appeared to be the most compelling based upon the letters, interviews, and focus group comments that were a part of the data gathering phase of the Task Force. The Task Force recognizes many of the identified processes and functions to be complex and composed of many subprocesses that are not delineated in the report. It will be challenging to address some of these processes and the time required may be lengthy. However, the Task Force believes that the academic mission of the University will be greatly enhanced as this journey to improve processes and functions progresses.
